ILDIKÓ NAGY

The Cosmic Egg was created by and for the Handsworth Community in Handsworth Park in 2016. ILdiko created the main frame out of green willow and the participants added additional willow rods to it. This piece is quite a special one due to its survival of a serious vandal attack. The flexibility of the green willow rods helped to bring the egg back into shape without much effort.
