ILDIKÓ NAGY

It's been a great pleasure to be involved in the Common Ground Project 2023. Seven Special Needs Schools in Birmingham have been working with seven artists of different mediums. I worked with Hamilton Primary School in Handsworth. The children have been exploring feltmaking through messyplay. They created felted sheets and suggested the look of the sculpture. I thoroughly enjoyed facilitating the sessions. Now, here it is the final piece, that has been stitched together. The exhibition took place (06.26.23 - 06.30.23) at the MAC theatre where many other beautiful collaborative creations of the schools & artists were on display.
