LOVE WOODROW BANNER PARADE
Love Woodrow Banner Parade - Woodrow, Redditch August - November 2025.
The Love Woodrow Banner Parade project was the second time ILdiko had the opportunity to work with @ReimagineRedditch. The project was about co-creating banners for the banner parade (18th October) with the local commuinity groups and schools. ILdi proposed to introduce a wide range of creative techniques to the participants, such as felt making, tie-dye, hapa zome, plastic fusion, crochet and sewing and guide them through a series of workshops. The aim of the project was to unite people through creativity and amplify the cohesion in Woodrow. For six weeks in September & October many busy hands in Redditch have created over 16 banners to send their positive messages out to the world and especially to their Woodrow community.
Thanks to all schools and community groups who helped to organise the sessions and participated in this project!
